2023 Georgia Climate Conference – Call for Poster Abstracts

Call For Poster Abstracts 

The Georgia Climate Project will host the 2023 Georgia Climate Conference from May 15th through 17th, 2023. We are accepting student- and professional-submitted abstracts for posters that will be presented at the conference on projects, either completed or in progress, focused on climate-related issues pertaining to the state of Georgia. Abstracts should be 250 words or less, in APA format.

Submission Deadline:

Abstracts submissions are due by April 7th, 2023 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

Abstract

  • 250 Word Limit
  • Can be based on research, projects, programs, or initiatives
  • Submissions can be based on work that is ongoing or complete

Location:University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel (Georgia Center) in Athens, GA

Dates: May 15 – 17, 2023

Meeting Registration Costs (includes breakfast and lunch for three days):

  • Early registration $250
  • Student registration $90
  • Late registration (after April 1): $350

Please note the following: 

If doing a group presentation, only one member needs to submit a proposal; however, they should include the names of any co-presenters

If you are a student, please check with your PI or Lab advisors to ensure you have permission to present your research.

Posters for the Georgia Climate Conference will be completely in-person thus please ensure you/your group will be able to present.
