Georgia Climate Project Welcomes New Academic Partners

November 27, 2018

The Georgia Climate Project is pleased to welcome Agnes Scott College, Georgia Southern University, Spelman College, and the University of North Georgia as Academic Partners in the Georgia Climate Project, joining co-founders Emory, Georgia Tech, and University of Georgia.

All four schools are already involved in activities of the Georgia Climate Project, including the Georgia Climate Research Roadmap and Georgia Climate Stories. The Academic Partner designation formalizes their involvement in the project and provides a mechanism for continued engagement and cooperation.

The Georgia Climate Project is a state-wide, multi-year effort to improve understanding of climate impacts and solutions in Georgia, and lay the groundwork for the state and its residents to take effective, science-based climate action. More information available at www.GeorgiaClimateProject.org.
